After his B.S. at Montana State University (Chemistry) and Ph.D. at Berkeley, he worked as a research scientist in the "theory group" at University of Pennsylvania and then with Max-Planck-Institut fuer Festkoerperforschung Heisenbergstrasse 1D-70569 Stuttgart,Germany. While in Germany he met and married Marion Streichsbier. Previously employed at Lawrence, Livermore, he now works at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Lives in Kennewick, . Although the oldest of our children he has the youngest of our grandkids, and the only girl (Sophie Isabella) along with an older brother, Nicholas Martin.

After her B.S. in music from Montana State University she obtained
her M.S from Florida State. She has
held positions in Idaho, Colorado, New Hampshire. and Wisconsin. She is married to
Dain Shuler and has two children. Philip and Ethan. They live in Milwaukee,
WI.

After her B.S in Elementary Education from Montana State University,
she has worked part time in the local school
system and was co-owner of a store ( Natural Selections) in Bozeman, Montana. She
did substitute teaching.
She is married to Jon Putnam, and has two sons, Seth and Carson.
They had two dogs, Storm and Nico. Storm is now with Ethyl.
After they moved from Bozeman they went to Missoula where Jon got his MBA. They spent two years in Meridian, Idaho, and are now back in Helena, MT, where Jon is employed by the State and Jill works at a preschool.
