Sophia - 2004 (after Michelangelo) Acrylic on canvas - 16 in. x 20 in.   The woman under God's arm in The Creation of Adam.   She has been identified by some as Mary, by others as Eve.    I prefer the notion that she represents Sophia,  Wisdom,  who according to Proverbs was present at God's side during the Creation.
