Prop "Cast Iron" Flat Iron (for an orignial musical review: Next! – A Cabaret from the Front Lines)
The iron base is carved from two layers of 3/4" MDF. The handle was pre-existing and came from an old broken chair. Supporting the handle are two screw-eyes. The entire project took less than 24-hours from need to finished product.

Note that the bottom has been waxed to suggest usage and practically, to reduce friction when the actor was "ironing" the laundry.
